Alta Langa D.O.C.G.

It is our first metodo classico sparkling wine, made from a small vineyard of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grown in Alta Langa, nearly 700 metres above sea level. It is a pas dosé sparkling wine, ideal as an aperitivo or pairing with delicate dishes.For the first time, our label pictures a female figure. The “vivandiera” accompanied armies—here with reference to the Piedmontese army—during military campaigns between the 18th and 20th centuries, carrying out tasks that soldiers engaged in battle did not have time to perform.They were responsible for supplying provisions, but also for assisting the wounded and the sick. It is precisely this latter role that inspired the founding of the Red Cross after the Battle of Solferino in 1859.
