The Renato Ratti Museum of Barolo and Wines of Alba
The Renato Ratti Museum of Barolo and Alba Wines was inaugurated on Saturday afternoon, October 25, 2025.
Originally founded in 1970 by Renato Ratti himself – celebrated as the father of the cru system in Barolo – the museum was created within the ancient cellars of the Annunziata Monastery in La Morra “to give the Alba region a museum dedicated to its wines.” It was, in fact, the first museum in the Langhe region specifically devoted to the history of local winemaking.
